Social Protection bedeutet, unsere verletzlichsten Mitglieder der Gesellschaft zu schützen, unsere Sozialsysteme an Krisen anzupassen und die weltweite Armut zu beseitigen. Hier an der H-BRS bieten wir einen viersemestrigen, hybriden und interdisziplinären Masterstudiengang an, der Studierenden die Werkzeuge vermittelt, um Sozialschutzsysteme zu analysieren, zu gestalten und zu managen. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss des Programms erhalten Absolventinnen und Absolventen den akademischen Grad "Master of Science in Social Protection“.

Content of the program

The Master's degree programme "Social Protection (M.Sc.)" offers an interdisciplinary and in-depth examination of social security systems. You will learn to analyze and reform systems that are effective, affordable, and flexible enough to meet future socio-economic challenges.

We want you to:

• gain deeper insights into the basic elements, influencing factors and instruments of social protection systems in low-, middle- and high-income countries;
  
• know how different analytical methods are applied to the design and redesign of social protection systems,
  
• develop a solid understanding of how social protection systems can be institutionally anchored and sustainably financed;
  
• are familiar with the most modern management methods in order to implement measures effectively and efficiently,
  
• build up a network of national and international experts.
